Pre-Kindergarten: 3 to 4 years old

Pre-Kindergarten is a nurturing environment where students begin to build strong bonds of friendship between one another. The year’s main focus is developing young students’ oral language skills. Learning in the Pre-Kindergarten takes place in different context across the preschool day especially during games and activities. Every day begins with harmony as the group sings and dances at morning circle time. Songs, crafts, and music are built into every lesson.

Regular practice in math, language, movement and coordination is intended to develop their growing skills. Throughout the year students will visit the library and computer lab and will begin to work with textbooks. All students play outdoors and exercise daily. At the end of the year, they will hold writing tools, show an interest in some numbers and shapes, and use some English to communicate with others.
