ABOUT US

The American School of Wrocław was founded with a vision to empower the next generation of children to explore a multicultural world through knowledge, experiences and a deep understanding of diverse cultures and perspectives.

We offer a bilingual education (Polish and English) for children from age one through to the end of high school. Our unique, integrated curriculum is based on respected educational practices and blends elements of the Polish education system with ideas inspired from overseas, such as the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP).

  • International Outlook

    Our school has an international outlook, proudly welcoming students from many different nationalities. The languages, cultures, and worldviews of our students enrich our community. Many of our students are bilingual or grow up in multicultural environments.
    From the day we opened, we have promoted the value of multilingualism – not only for the ability to communicate in multiple languages but to understand their different origins, significance, and how they are connected to each other. The bilingual environment at our school opens children up to other languages and cultures, building their intercultural competencies.

  • A broad curriculum

    Our education offering goes well beyond the basic curriculum. We emphasize not only intellectual growth but also social, emotional, and artistic development. From an early age, students participate in theater, sports, and arts activities such as dance, sailing, and creative projects.
