The MYP (Middle Years Programme), part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) system, is recognized globally for its modern, interdisciplinary, and demanding approach to education. At the American School of Wrocław, we offer students a unique opportunity to study within the MYP – the prestigious IB program for young people aged 11-16. Our school blends global IB standards with local engagement and an individualized approach to each student!
Not Just Learning
Life at our school extends far beyond the classroom. We offer a wide range of extracurricular activities that allow children to develop their passions and discover new interests. Among the activities offered are sports, arts, music, as well as gymnastics, ballet, and intellectual development exercises such as mental arithmetic and chess.
We also regularly organize educational trips to theaters, cinemas, amusement parks, and historically significant places – both in Poland and abroad.

Learning at ASW goes beyond the traditional curriculum. We place a strong emphasis on developing key skills for life In a modern world, such as critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and leadership.
Through a wide range of artistic and sports activities, we support the all-around development of our students – both intellectually and emotionally. From an early age, children can engage in activities that help discover passions and develop talents. We offer a broad selection of clubs and extracurricular activities, such as football, swimming, judo, science, music and language (Polish Club). This allows students to develop their interests in a way that aligns with the idea of holistic education.
